Kindergarten Colours Project

This blog was created for Kindergarten students to:

• Identify the three main primary colours
• Create secondary colours by combining two primary colours
• Classify objects by shades of the same colour 

Students will complete the following activities:

Before posting in this blog

• Listen to the stories:

     "The Coat Of Many Colours", and 
     "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See"?

• Experiment with colour mixing:

       What happens when ... is mixed with ...

• Play " I spy game"

      I spy with my tiny little eyes something that is the colour ...


During working on the blog

• Write colour names
• Create a rainbow of colours
• Make a colour wheel that shows both primary and secondary colours
• Collect pictures that represent objects that are a shade of the same colour
• Make a colours booklet

• Write information on the blog and insert photos taken while doing the activities, and post them in the blog onto the right pages

After finishing the blog

• Share this blog with others
